Our founding member Norman Rotenberg, M.D., Q.M.E. served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received his MD from the University of Illinois. He is a diplomat from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Rotenberg was Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 1992 to 1996. From 1979 to 1996, he worked as a team physician for the Los Angeles Raiders. Dr. Rotenberg also served as a qualified forensic pathologist (QME) until the last days of his life.
